Q1:How do we reserve a lodge exclusively for our country?
（ロッジを国別で貸し切り利用する場合の詳細を教えてください。）

A1:Rusutsu Resort offers three types of lodges, with maximum capacities of 6, 18, and 24 guests. Each lodge is divided into several private rooms, such as rooms for 2, 4, or 6 guests. Exclusive-use lodge rates are special prices not listed in Bulletin No. 2; please contact us for details.

Q2:Please provide information on payment, changes, and cancellations for accommodation.
（宿泊料金の支払い、変更、キャンセルポリシーについて教えてください。）

A2:Accommodation fees should be paid together with the entry fee, as described in “9. Payment” of Bulletin No. 2. The payment deadline is 25 February 2026. Please note that your entry and accommodation will not be valid until full payment has been completed. We will do our best to accommodate any changes to your accommodation, depending on availability. Cancellation policies are as follows: On the day/no-show: 100% of the accommodation fee; 3 days before arrival: 80% of the accommodation fee; 14 days before arrival: 50% of the accommodation fee; 21 days before arrival: 20% of the accommodation fee.

Q3:How can supporters make their accommodation reservations?
（サポーターの予約は、直接ホテルに予約するように伝えた方が良いでしょうか？）

A3:Supporters’ accommodation reservations can also be arranged by our accommodation team, with special discounted rates. When making reservations for supporters, please submit consolidated requests whenever possible.

（提供されている宿泊料金は、一般的な料金よりもかなり安くなっています。 サポーターの予約も宿泊チームで対応しますので、なるべく各国でまとめてお問合せください。）
Q4:What is included in the “Wax table” (JPY 50,000 for whole period)”?
（「ワックステーブル（全期間50,000円）」には何が含まれていますか？）

A4:Wax table” includes one waxing table, a 100V power supply, and a designated waxing area located in the Arena at Rusutsu Resort Hotel. This waxing area is not a private room. Rusutsu Resort Hotel has waxing rooms available free of charge for general guests. However, as these rooms are designed for alpine skiing, they may be inconvenient for Nordic skiing. The organizers will also provide one waxing table; however, it is expected to be difficult for a large number of people to use it. Therefore, the organizers strongly recommend that each country use the paid “Wax table.

Q5:we would like to order wax products sold in Japan, including Japanese- made wax such as GALLIUM. Could you handle this request for us?
（日本国内で販売されているワックス用品（日本産のワックス（ガリウム）など） を注文したいのですが、対応してもらえますか？）

A5:If you choose to receive your wax products upon arrival at Rusutsu Resort Hotel, the Hokkaido Orienteering Association will provide the same support as that offered to the Japan National Team. Please contact us individually regarding the wax products you require. Please make payment for wax products together with the accommodation fee. In addition, the Hokkaido Orienteering Association has arranged paid rentals of a 100V wax iron (JPY 10,000 per unit for whole period) and a 100V electric drill (JPY 10,000 per unit for whole period). Please contact us if you wish to use these rental services.

Q6:Is the bus transfer from New Chitose Airport to Rusutsu Resort Hotel JPY 10,000 for the entire team, or is that per person? Also, when should we make the reservation?

A6:The bus transfer from New Chitose Airport to Rusutsu Resort Hotel costs JPY 10,000 per person for round trip. If enough people make a reservation, additional bus services can be arranged, so please provide your flight details when making a reservation. We will provide information about the bus transfer from New Chitose Airport to Rusutsu Resort Hotel as soon as arrangements are ready.

Q7:After the competition, some team members would like to travel within Japan. However, they will have a large amount of equipment, including ski bags and wax products. Would it be possible to store these items at Rusutsu Resort Hotel until their sightseeing is finished?

A7:We are currently preparing a paid luggage delivery service, allowing luggage not required during sightseeing to be shipped from Rusutsu Resort Hotel at a designated date and time and collected at New Chitose Airport. Collection at Tokyo (Haneda / Narita) Airport is also available.
